As a Technical Consultant, you'll be responsible for the technical design, program development, and post-implementation consulting and administration of solutions and programs on the Confirmit platform.

As a member of a program team, you'll be working as a technical and development lead.  You'll provide detailed technical design and specification of solutions. When necessary, you'll work with the Global Solutions and Product Management teams for solutions that require development of custom components.

You'll also be responsible for Post-implementation activities that include on-going technical advice and support of accounts; building relationships with client business and technical users; conducting Horizons training sessions; managing outsourced vendor relationships; management, consulting and administration of solutions for clients who have contracted with Confirmit for deployment and administration services; and working with the Technical Services team in Russia and occasionally third party offshore and onshore partners. 

RESPONSIBILITIES/GENERAL ACTIVITIES:

• Act as the technical point of contact with customers and other Confirmit project team members.

• Assess client technical requirements and provide viable solutions.

• Development of technical specifications.

• Lead the development and deployment process working with the program management team.

• Adhere to Confirmit's and customer's processes in place for project governance and delivery.

• Work with clients to integrate Confirmit technologies into their business applications.

• Manage and conduct solutions QA.

• Assists with client UAT.

• Provide solutions administration and overall ongoing project management services as required for the client solution (Post-Implementation Consulting):

  • Build relationships with client management and team members.
  • Assist with managing services project budget.
  • Work with team members, on multiple accounts, to manage all aspects of ongoing post-implementation solution services. 
  • Manage change and resolve conflicts that can impact services and operation of client solutions.

• Adhere to processes in place for project delivery.

• Describe solutions to clients about how to integrate Confirmit into their business.

• Provide Confirmit platform training and knowledge transfer.

• Work with the Pre-Sales team and Solution Architects for development and delivery of technical presentations in-person or online.

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:

This role requires previous customer-facing experience along with technical and business assessment skills and the ability to articulate the value of technical solutions from a business perspective.  The ideal individual will have knowledge of standard consulting operational processes, strong pres­entation skills and project delivery management experience. 

• BA/BS in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems or equivalent experience. 
• 2 - 4 years of experience in a similar role. 
• Working experience with Jscript /JavaScript, HTML, CSS.
• SQL server understanding and working experience.
• Ability to intelligently converse about required business concepts and technologies with clients, vendors and internal team members.
• Demonstrated successful proposal development and presentation skills, including excellent oral and written communication ability.
• Ability to manage and work as part of a multifunctional team.
• Demonstrates initiative, individual motivation and the drive to assist in sales initiatives from start to finish.

TRAVEL: 

Must be able to travel approximately 15-25% of the time.

LOCATION:

The role will be located in our San Francisco Bay Area office.  We are not considering remote candidates at this time.
