POSITION SUMMARY
The Social Media Planner is responsible for planning and buying social media advertising and implementation of these programs. The Social Media Planner reports to the Media Supervisor/Director and works closely with the social content and digital media teams to develop strategic recommendations that meet client-marketing objectives. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication, writing and analytical skills, as well as strong digital and paid social media planning, buying and activation experience. A minimum of 2 years of experience is highly desirable. He/she embraces the Conill spirit of One Team, One Dream, Nothing is Impossible. Bilingual Spanish/English is required.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work with Account Service, Social Content, and Digital Media teams to develop social media strategies and recommendations to meet established KPIs and campaign goals
- Execute and manage paid social media buys including implementation, negotiations, and budget management
- Work closely with Social content team to identify and develop ad creative opportunities and make adjustments based on performance
- Analyze and complete weekly/monthly campaign reports utilizing internal reporting tools, vendor insights and subscription-based tools
- Continually recommend and execute optimizations and report on the effectiveness of those changes
- Find opportunities to create and implement custom ideas on the fly
- Responsible for monitoring organic and paid social media trends
- Develop recommendations and POVs for new social media platforms and activate these campaigns
- Monitor platform changes and update teams, clients and programs as needed
- Deliver formal and informal presentations to clients and internal teams
