    LEAD CERTIFIED ENVIRONMENTAL TECHNICIAN – St. Louis, MO

    Headquartered in St. Louis, Missouri, my client is a full-service environmental consulting firm that specializes in providing cost-effective environmental solutions for both government and commercial clientele. Seeking a full-time Environmental Technician to add to the Field Services Division in the St. Louis office. We are seeking a dynamic and versatile individual capable of working with a team of environmental professionals and certified to perform asbestos/lead-based paint surveys and assessments, provide abatement monitoring/oversight and air monitoring. The ideal candidate will meet all of the minimum requirements listed below.

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Minimum 3-5 years of industry experience;
    • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, or related field is a plus; years of work experience or military service could be substituted for the degree;
    • State of Missouri certifications for Asbestos Inspector and Lead Risk Assessor are required, Asbestos Supervisor and NIOSH Air Monitoring certifications are a plus;
    • Self-motivated, able to work independently, complete scheduled tasks, and/or lead a project team;
    • Proficiency in computer software programs, particularly MS Outlook, Word, Excel and Adobe Acrobat;
    • Ability to pass an annual physical examination and physician written opinion in compliance with OSHA regulations to wear and work wearing respiratory protection.
    • Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs;
    • Ability to travel;
