    DESCRIPTION and RESPONSIBILITIES

    My client seeks a full-time SAS Digital Marketing Analyst – Personalization, Customer Insights consultant to work with our client, a retail client in New York, NY. 

    The consultant drives the digital, personalization marketing strategy supporting customer insights and multi-channel integrated marketing campaign development and execution for assigned lines of business. 

    The Senior Digital Marketing Analyst, Marketing and Personalization, is responsible for the development and execution of personalized campaigns via customer data platforms (SAS, Snowflake) and marketing automation solutions. This position partners closely with internal teams to define and launch campaigns across all available channels driving acquisition, conversion, retention and engagement. This position is also responsible for the development and management protocols and tools to continually monitor, report, and analyze personalization programs and campaigns on a regular basis. Directly manages the marketing databases (Snowflake) and toolsets delivering state of the art cross channel campaigns and real time decision programs driving consumer response. Thought leader in leveraging specific marketing data to identify key client targets for marketing communications (Email, Direct Mail, Calling, Interactive/Digital, Web, etc.). Expertise in marketing analytics and statistical measurement of marketing programs. The consultant must have excellent communication skills and must be able to communicate about the techniques developed and results of analysis both to executives and other analysts in the organization. 

    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITES:

    • Review teams current modeling approach utilizing various methods (SAS,R,Python) and make recommendations to team for managing models, tuning models or refining models using SAS Solution
    • Operationalize clients modeling efforts to Viya – VDMML
    • Leading or assisting in activities related to SAS Digital solution implementation project discovery, definition, design, development, and/or implementation of SAS’ Digital Solution(s). 

    PERSONALIZATION STRATEGIES:

    • Create a personalization customer experience vision for the entire organization to aspire to and continuously evolve based on testing, learning and insights
    • Partner with Marketing, Digital, and other Customer Leads to drive a coordinated, personalized customer experience
    • Develop deep understanding of shopping triggers and value-driving behaviors to move customers through the engagement funnel
    • Create personalized journeys for targeted segments, ensuring touchpoints are as relevant as possible
    • Partner with stakeholders to identify, develop, and test new personalization tactics/capabilities that drive total enterprise traffic and improve customer value perception
    • Define and lead programmatic solutions relevant to specific customer segments, inclusive product, offer, content, and channel strategies
    • Own, define and implement the guidelines and governance for consumer engagement
    • Leverage analytics and data science teams for actionable insights, algorithms, test designs and model validation
    • Partner with stakeholders on creation of new personalization capabilities and features to be developed and tested through iterative frameworks
    • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to measure and manage the overall impact and health of personalization initiatives
    • Understanding customer requests and translating them into actionable tasks for the delivery of digital campaigns and design for SAS Digital solutions

    QUALIFICATIONS – ESSENTIAL

    • A minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field is required and equivalent work experience required.
    • Strong SAS Digital Marketing Analytics – Personalization, Customer Insights, Multi-Touch Attribution (MTA), Campaign Development, Segmentation, Clustering, Propensity Modeling, Lifetime Value Analysis, predictive and response modeling 

    Nice to have experience (preferred but not required):

    • Operationalize clients modeling efforts to Viya – VDMML
    • Microsoft Azure cloud environment
    • Snowflake database
    • Experience developing reports and content with SAS 9.4 including:
    • 5+ years of SAS\SQL programming, data architecting and technical design.
    • SAS Enterprise Guide experience.
    • Snowflake database experience is preferred.
    • Lead and/or actively participate in SAS knowledge-sharing activities.
    • Be proficient in Base SAS programming (DATA step), SQL programming (i.e., use of SQL pass-through or PROC SQL), as well as the SAS Macro language for use in making code more efficient.
    Good written and spoken communications skills in English and thought-leadership skills.
