    IT Manager

    My client is looking for an IT Manager to oversee and direct the day-to-day support and management of the IT Department. The IT Manager will oversee additional IT Support Staff, provide essential guidance on IT-related issues, and manage IT-related projects. This will be a technical hands-on leader responsible for assisting local and remote staff with technical problems ranging from computer software and hardware, SaaS applications, network administration, and more.

    The IT manager will report directly to the CTO and work closely with the IT support and development teams. They will manage a growing team of technicians supporting close to 100 locations across Southern California, Las Vegas, San Diego Mountains, and Texas.

    What you’ll do:

    • Manage a team of technicians in CA and LV providing remote and onsite support
    • Solve any problem through data analysis, technical troubleshooting, and improve ways of working by streamlining processes.
    • Document, track, and monitor problems to ensure resolution in a timely manner, act as final point of contact for technical or personnel escalations.
    • Oversee support and administration of all systems listed above
    • Oversee support, administration, and deployment of all business hardware
    • Develop and maintain relationships with IT vendors and manage IT contracts
    • Oversee IT-related purchasing
    • Ensure systems are secure
    • Lead, advise, and manage new systems implementation
    • Monitor performance of information technology systems to determine cost and productivity levels, and make recommendations for improving the IT infrastructure
    • Assess vendors for new hardware and software
    • Assist in troubleshooting hardware and software issues related to internal IT systems

     Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

    • Ability to travel to satellite offices and sites as needed
    • Willingness to jump in and get your hands dirty when needed

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • To qualify for this position, in addition to strong communication and organizational skills, a candidate must have experience in each of the following:
    • System Administration
    • Google Workspace Management (Required) 5+ years of experience
    • GCP Administration Experience
    • Strong Windows 7/10 Experience
    • MacOS Experience
    • Strong ChromeOS Experience
    • Strong SaaS Management experience
    • Network Administration (5+ years’ experience)
    • Ubiquiti, Meraki, Palo Alto, Active Directory


     

    Management Experience

    • Must have managed at least 2 people for at least 2 years
    • IT Management Experience
    • Must have at least 5 years’ experience as an IT Manager or similar role
    • Excellent project management skills and strong ability to prioritize
    • Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
    • Experience with ticketing systems such as Helpscout, Freshservice, or Spoke

    • Someone that loves technology and is passionate about delivering a world-class customer service experience.
    • Natural problem solver who enjoys identifying ways to make things better.
    • Real Estate experience using Yardi
    • Cloud-Based UCaaS VOIP through RingCentral
    • Experience with unattended remote access tools (such as Connectwise)
    • Asset Management Experience (Such as Asset Panda)
    • Web Domain Management (Such as Godaddy, Google Domains, and GCP)
    • Verkada Security Cameras and Access Control Systems
    • Adobe Creative Suite
    • Security Administration
    • Sophos EDR
    • Training Experience (a plus)
