Business Relations (Construction) Account Manager
Prospect for potential new members (subcontractors and associates) to generate new revenue for Las Vegas Construction company
Cold Call as appropriate/ needed
Identify potential members and who the key decision makers are within the organization
Schedule sales meeting with key decision makers (owners) of the organization
Research and build relationships with member prospects
Plan sales approach and continue to develop as needed to secure new members
Handle objections by clarifying, emphasizing agreements, and working through differences to a positive conclusion (securing membership)
Attend industry functions to bring awareness and secure new relationships with potential customers
Client Retention
Build working relationships with new and existing customers
Develop new products and services to engage and retain current customers
Marketing
Manage all social media outlets of the organization, including Twitter, Facebook, and Linked In accounts
Manage the company website and develop new features to engage members and clearly portray the company mission and goals to the public
Identify opportunities for marketing campaigns, services, and other distribution channels that will lead to an increase in revenue
General skills and responsibilities
Serve as a positive representative of Construction company
Great public speaking ability, including sales presentations and event related public speaking
Ability to create and implement marketing strategies
Track digital membership lists and update membership files regularly
Attend all marketing meetings and provide a Business Development update monthly
Attend all committee meetings and industry functions
Assist President with additional tasks as required including but not limited to event set-up/tear down, event announcements and membership communications, event registrations, marketing material design and creation, and other general administrative tasks
Must have advanced knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Publisher, and Power Point. Working knowledge of Constant Contact, website design via Word Press, and marketing design experience strongly preferred.
