Position Overview
As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will provide early intervention services to children from birth to age 3 in the child’s natural environment. You’ll assess communication needs, support development of individualized treatment plans, and work collaboratively with families and other professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and provide direct early intervention services for children ages 0–3 in home and community settings.
- In collaboration with family and team, develop and implement individualized family service plans based on child and family outcomes.
- Work collaboratively with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams.
- Document services in compliance with state and program requirements.
- Attend scheduled IFSP meetings and participate in teaming meetings to provide and receive support from interdisciplinary team.
- Provide caregiver coaching as it relates to family priorities and IFSP outcomes.

- Current CT state license and ASHA CCCs (or CFY supervision available).
- Experience with early intervention or pediatrics preferred.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and travel to service locations.
- Hand dexterity ability (ability to operate mobile device, smart phone, computer).
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
- Ability to travel to various locations on a daily basis.
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
Qualifications:
- •Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
