    Licensed - Pre-Licensed Mental Health Therapist Our team is growing! We are seeking a curious and empathetic mental health therapist. You will be using evidence-based practices to assess and treat mental health diagnoses. We specialize in working with clients with Autism, ADHD, learning and developmental diagnoses, and clients with the greatest need. This is a teaching-learning environment with ample training and support. We offer the best of both worlds, the flexibility of private practice and doing exciting work with individuals with complex diagnoses. Do good in your community! Our ideal candidate will be self-driven and want to learn. We are hiring licensed and pre-licensed, with a 5% Spanish language pay differential. Benefits: • Medical, Dental, Vision • On-going training • Teaching and learning work environment • Supervision for licensure provided • Flexible work schedule Responsibilities: Refer patients and family members to community resources or to specialists as necessary Determine the status of patients mental health by using medical information, interviews, observation, and testing, as well as collaboration with other staff members Evaluate patients’ circumstances on a regular basis and provide necessary follow-up care • Utilizes clinical best practices to conduct screening, intake, and assessments to determine the client’s needs and develop treatment goals • Performs counseling services with clients and their families through individual, family, and group therapy. Employs evidenced-based practices grounded in Connections Family and Behavioral Services methods • Provides crisis intervention, counseling, advocacy, case management, and referral services for assigned individuals and families • Maintain current notes and billing to ethical and professional standards • A flexible work schedule may be required including evenings and/or weekends, based on client/program needs Qualifications: Licensure in the state you reside as a licensed mental health counselor (LMHC) or the equivalent is required Possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and great communication and interpersonal skills • Must have (or be imminently completing) masters degree in BBS registration eligible program Compensation: $35 - $45 hourly
