Data Lineage Analyst

In this role, you will be part of an offshore Data Lineage team supporting a client’s Data Governance Office.
Responsibilities
• Work with teams in Data Governance, Data Delivery and BU IT to understand and map the data flows in the organization
• Populate and maintain the data flows in Collibra by uploading up-to-date spreadsheet templates
• Assist with Collibra configuration updates

Qualifications
Minimum qualifications
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT or Computer Science
• Prior experience as a Business Analyst / Systems Analyst / Data Analyst
• Experience using Collibra or any other Data Governance tool like Mantas, Alation, IBM InfoSphere Information Governance Catalog, Informatica Axon
• Solid understanding of data catalogs, business glossaries, metadata model design (communities, domains, assets) and their inter-relationships
• SQL knowledge – ability to write complex joins

Preferred qualifications

• Documenting source-to-target mappings, transformations, controls
• Experience with using bulk upload files to import glossary terms, reference data code lists etc.
• Experience with integrating Collibra with other applications using Collibra Connect, Java APIs, MuleSoft etc.
