  • Responsibilities

    We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable specialist to process and enter accounts payable invoices, corporate credit card activity and employee expense reports. This position will also cross train with other administrative support staff in order to provide backup as needed.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Process and enter accounts payable invoices
    • Enter and maintain vendor files
    • Process and enter corporate credit card activity
    • Process and enter employee expense reports
    • Provide training and assistance to employees with expense reporting tools
    • Assist employees with corporate travel arrangements to ensure policy compliance
    • Prepare and provide expense report backup to be included with monthly client invoices
    • Assist with 1099 preparation and distribution
    • Maintain fixed asset list
    • Provide backup and assist other administrative staff as needed

     

    REQUIREMENTS FOR ACCOUNTS PAYABLE CLERK POSITION ARE:

    • BS degree in Finance or Accounting; or AA degree in Finance or Accounting with 2+ years' experience of working as an Accounts Payable Clerk or similar position.
    • Experience with calculating, posting and managing accounting figures and financial records
    • Knowledge of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles
    • Good practical experience with spreadsheets and proprietary software
    • Good mathematical and data entry skills
    • Good knowledge of MS Office
    • Accuracy, responsibility and close attention to detail
    • US CITIZENSHIP (Connexta has some contracts that make this a requirement)
