    THE JOB

    Conscious Minds Studios seeks a Post Production Coordinator for the Post Production department. Under direct supervision, performs various post production administrative activities for Senior Post Producer and Post Team.

    THE DAILY

    • Creates assigned project files. Maintains a database of project documents including, but not limited to, schedules, budgets, workflow charts, crew deals, NDAs, etc.
    • Drafts and edits revisions to schedules and budgets on assigned projects.
    • Contributes to building camera/editorial workflow charts and schedules workflow calls.
    • Drafts and tracks changes to deal memos and contracts for editorial crew.
    • Works with vendors to set up and wrap cutting rooms.
    • Verifies invoices and timecards submitted for payment against POs/deals and facilitates related approvals, tracking/maintaining records of related transactions and correspondence.
    • Schedules executive, filmmakers, market research and QC screenings (including booking security, project engineering, screening rooms, verifying formats and arranging KDMs).
    • Helps track and traffic elements between productions, post-facilities and the Studio. Facilitates the delivery for all project-related elements required for the distribution of assigned films in concert with the Supervisor, Department and the Production.
    • Implements and enforces Studio-mandated content production policies and protocols for Feature Post Production.
    • Communicates key issues to Supervisor(s) on an ongoing basis.
    • Performs other related duties or special projects as required by Supervisor and/or Department.

    THE ESSENTIALS

    • BA/BS degree, in the related field preferred.
    • 2-3 years' experience in production or post production.
    • Working knowledge of post production/understanding of technical terms and processes.
    • MAC/PC Proficiency, Advanced skills in MS Word, Excel, Outlook; Familiarly with cloud-based platforms.
    • Must have knowledge of file set-up, maintenance, filing procedures, basic math, spelling, grammar, punctuation, English usage, and report & letter formats.
    • Excellent communication skills, both verbal & written, articulating issues in a professional manner.
    • Ability to communicate effectively & tactfully with managers and other levels of personnel.
    • Ability to prepare clear & concise reports etc. for presentation to senior management.
    • Must pay close attention to detail, understand written & oral instructions, maintain confidentiality, and problem solve (within scope of responsibility). Confident enough to ask questions.
    • Excellent organizational & follow-through skills.
    • Ability to work well under time constraints and meet deadlines. Looking for good attitude and enthusiasm.
    • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
    • Practiced at anticipating upcoming requests and familiarity with post production file organization and general understanding of file structure, proxy/transcode workflow, and finishing prep (color, sound mix, VFX)
