    POSITION PROFILE

    The Cabinet Maker is responsible for the assembly of custom commercial office furniture constructed of wood, granite, glass, metal, etc.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Use various machinery and hand tools to fabricate custom furniture, including: Conference tables, workstations, reception desks, credenzas etc.  
    • Glues, fits and clamps parts and subassemblies together to form a complete unit.
    • Trims component parts of joints to ensure proper fit.

    Required Skills

    • 3-5 years of woodworking experience, preferably in the furniture industry preferred
    • Ability to interpret shop drawings
    • Ability to lift up to 40lbs.

    Required Experience

    • A high school diploma or equivalent (GED), or work experience which demonstrates performance competency
