The ideal candidate will assist the FSO in developing, implementing and maintaining security plans, processes and procedures to comply with National Industrial Security Operating Manual (NISPOM) for all Dayton office locations and successfully pass required DSS security assessments.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provides day-to-day administration and oversight of sensitive and classified activities.
- Develops assists the FSO with self-inspections and maintains continuous control over all media.
- Ensures compliance with company and government requirements.
- Manages DISS, Visit Requests, personnel security inquiries and e-QIP initiations.
- Provides prime/subcontractor security support and direction including the maintenance of DD254's, security guidance, and classified holdings.
- Supports other security disciplines within the company Security organization to include: Personnel Security, Physical Security, Automated Information Systems (AIS) Security, Communications Security (COMSEC), Document Control and Visitor Control.
- Liaison with customer and subcontractor security offices on security issues.
- Oversees classified visitor and meeting activities.
- Assist staff with completion and submittal of SF86s, SCI nominations and special access packages.
- Conducts security briefings, issues ID badges and hand carry credentials.
- Transmits and receives classified materials via mail, fax, hand carry, or classified network.
- Stays apprised of new regulations and security developments by participating in the security community.
- Must be able to analyze problems and establish goals to complete objectives set forth by management.
- Demonstrates the ability to manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Knowledge of CSSO/CPSO responsibilities
- Knowledge of SIMS Software
- Experience working with COMSEC

- Active Secret clearance
- 2 years of DoD Industrial security experience
- Knowledge of the NISPOM and other DoD Security Directives.
- Thorough understanding of security databases such as DISS, NISS, and eQIP
