  • Responsibilities

    Assist in the oversight of projects with a focus on document control, subcontractor coordination, design team communication and project reporting. Communicate with Owners, OPMs and Design Teams members. Provide input during weekly meetings with subcontractors, design teams, and owner representatives. Support project cost and change management process, including preparing reports for review. Assist in the development of estimates and bid proposals for both lump sum and GMP projects. Oversee responsibilities including document Control, RFIs, Submittals, Material Delivery Tracking and Meeting Minutes. Mentor and train supporting team members. Maintain close relations with subcontractors, including early notification of submittal & material delivery schedule expectation. Monitor executed subcontracts and insurance certificates. Coordinate with Project Scheduler to update and distribute project master schedule with input from Superintendent and project team. Assist the project Superintendent and other team members in the resolution of all critical issues and RFI’s. Complete and implement project closeout checklist. Manage close-out documentation (as-builts, O&Ms, warranties, test reports, etc.) for submission to Design Team and Owner. Manage financial closeout process with subcontractors and Owner. Upload and distribute the punch list through Procore to subcontractors. Assist with coordinating work completion as required and maintain an accurate log of items to be completed. Review Design Team field reports and work with required parties to resolve open items and drive to resolution. Perform regular safety walks with field and safety staff and record observations. Travel and Work at client sites as assigned.

    Required Skills

    Requires a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Operations Management, Construction Management, Architecture or a directly related field plus three (3) years of project management experience as a Project Manager, Assistant Project Manager, Engineer or related occupation in the construction domain. Experience must include:

    One (1) year of experience with the following (experience may be gained concurrently):

    • Negotiating with subcontractors and suppliers

    • Construction management software Timberline PM or Procure

    • Construction methods, materials, requisitions, and changes

    • OSHA construction industry safety standards

    40 hours/week, 9:00am-5:00pm.

    Required Experience

  • Qualifications

    Requires a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Operations Management, Construction Management, Architecture or a directly related field plus three (3) years of project management experience as a Project Manager, Assistant Project Manager, Engineer or related occupation in the construction domain. Experience must include:

    One (1) year of experience with the following (experience may be gained concurrently):

    • Negotiating with subcontractors and suppliers

    • Construction management software Timberline PM or Procure

    • Construction methods, materials, requisitions, and changes

    • OSHA construction industry safety standards
