    We seek a Senior Combat Systems Engineer (VLS) to support a PMS 406 NAVSEA customer. The ideal candidate will be located in the D.C. Metro area.

    Duties include:

    • Providing Navy Combat Systems and VLS integration expertise to Unmanned Ship Program.
    • Supporting the development of ship specification and testing to demonstrate technology readiness while coordinating with outside organizations.
    • Providing subject matter expertise to assist the program's decision-making efforts to ensure mission success.

    Required Experience:

    • Senior Engineers must have an engineering background and technical experience integrating U.S. shipboard combat systems, including the Vertical Launch System.

    Required Education and Substitution Language:

    • High school diploma or a GED, and more than twenty (20) years of relevant engineering experience, OR
    • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and fifteen (15) years of relevant engineering experience, OR
    • Master's degree in a relevant field and ten (10) years of relevant engineering experience.

    Candidate must possess an active security clearance. Due to the sensitivity of customer-related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
