GENERAL DESCRIPTION / PRIMARY PURPOSE:
Under the direction of the Finance Manager for Sales and Marketing, this position supports sales financial analysis for the Dole Value Added Salads business unit through the development of new product proformas and sales reporting.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS/DUTIES OF THE POSITION:
- Prepare new product proformas, which requires coordination of information from several functional areas, creating financial models and analysis of the impact on the business and against existing products
- Analyze profitability of product reformulations
- Evaluate customer and SKU profitability reporting in Powe BI and ensure data is accurate, working with IT and operations finance
- Provide detailed analyses regarding customer volumes, pricing strategies and product costing
- Assist with preparing the annual budgets for sales
- Pursue continuous improvement of existing processes to enhance efficiency
- Perform ad hoc reporting and analyses as requested
- Perform TM1/Customer proforma responsibilities
- Other duties as assigned
Required Skills
** JOB SPECIFIC COMPETENCIES:**
- 2+ years of experience in accounting or finance roles
- Ability to multi-task and effectively meet deadlines
- Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles, procedures, and application.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills to include XLOOKUP, SUMPRODUCT, MATCH, INDEX, PowerPivot, Power Query and proper database management and accuracy to ensure data quality and integrity.
- Experience structuring data is highly desired. Proactiveness and curiosity are critical in this topic.
- Proficient MS Software skills (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word)
- Strong PC and mainframe skills including working knowledge of PowerPoint and JD Edwards software.
- Experience using PowerBI
- IBM Planning Analytics Workspace/TM1 experience desirable
- Initiative to resolve and research problems
- Excellent oral and written communication skills; with responsive feedback at all times. Spanish language skills helpful.
- Strong attention to detail and a desire to assume new responsibilities
- Willingness to learn

WORK HOUR & TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
- Remote eligible- Ability to work beyond regular business hours, weekends if necessary to meet customer proposal or other financial reporting deadlines and the ability to travel to DFV Sites as needed.

- B.S/B.A in Accounting or Finance required
PAY RATE:
- $75,000 - $80,000 Annually
