    Framatome is seeking a SUPPLY CHAIN ANALYST IV supporting a team based in Mansfield, MA. Relocation will be evaluated on a candidate basis. The global I&C Business Unit (ICBU) focuses on the modernization of critical plant systems to support improved reliability, safety, and extended plant life. The North American I&C operating unit (ICU) is seeking a Manager to provide Supply Chain oversight and coordination for the key I&C suppliers.  At times, this will involve travel to all of the main I&C sites both domestic and international.

     

    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

    • Provide I&C supplier oversight to ensure materials, equipment, and services are provided to our ICU project teams consistent with established standards for quality, delivery, and service with the objective of maximizing efficiency and profitability.
    • Interface with global and regional stakeholders in order to plan, design and apply effective procurement planning and ensure source of supply.
    • Coordinate the Supply Chain at the North American platform level to assure the achievement of the associated goals and targets, as well as exchange on best practices leveraged in other BU/OUs within Framatome, Inc.
    • Form and strengthen mutually beneficial relationships with key supply chain partners.
    • Serve as the Contract Manager supporting frame agreements established with key suppliers;  shall include coordination of all interfaces, forecasting, reporting and business planning as required within the frame agreements.
    • Applies long-term strategic supply chain initiatives to avoid risks related to inadequate hardware supply (e.g., improved data exchange with suppliers, optimizing raw materials, and security of supply of raw materials).
    • This role will report Operationally and Hierarchically to the ICU Opperational Support Director.
    • In addition to the above, this role will also fulfill the following Project Procurement responsibilities on strategically important large projects (Level B and above):
    • In connection with the Senior Project Managers and the global BU Purchasing Director, draw up the Project Procurement Plan (PPP).
    • Consolidate the target prices for equipment & subcontracting purchase with respect to the global budget for the project; monitor and report on the corresponding purchase performance.
    • In relation with project control resources, consolidate and update the budget for procurement activities and ensure proper availability for the project of procurement resources from procurement regional division.
    • Organize procurement function contribution to any catch-up plan aiming at recovering project delay in close cooperation with the global BU Purchasing Director.
    • Liaise with Project Management for procurement coordination issues.
    • Active involvement into major sourcing and negotiating tasks
    • Liaise with the Corporate Purchasing for synergies, reporting, purchasing Performance
    • Propose as needed and organizes as agreed any assistance likely to improve project procurement performance
    • Contribute to the Project Reporting
    • Ensure administration and control of materials delivery to Site

     

    ALL CANDIDATES MUST MEET THE FOLLOWING MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS OPPORTUNITY.  CANDIDATES WHO EXCEED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS MAY BE CONSIDERED FOR A HIGHER LEVEL POSITION.

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or related discipline, or experience in lieu of degree, plus a minimum of 6-8 years of closely related work experience. An advanced degree (MBA or MS) is highly preferred and may substitute for 1-2 years of related work experience. C.P.M. certification required.
    • Required Knowledge/Soft Skills:
    • Possesses and applies comprehensive knowledge of supply management field in the completion of difficult assignments.
    • Highly-developed leadership qualities
    • Proficiency with PC-based applications such as MS Office
    • Ability to interact effectively with all levels of staff and management
    • Ability to change priorities quickly, confront issues directly and work well as part of a team.

     

    THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS ARE DESIRED AND WILL BE USED TO DIFFERENTIATE ALL CANDIDATES WHO APPLY FOR THIS POSITION.

    • Supply Chain, Contract and Claim Management experience within the global electronic component supply chain
    • Direct experience with electronic component obsolescence management strategies
    • Experience translating business level forecasting into component level inventory management strategies
    • Management and leadership experience to manage multiple tasks and projects through subordinates.

    Required Skills Required Experience

  • Qualifications
    • Bachelors’ degree in Construction Management with at least 5 years’ experience in the construction industry or related fields.
    • Understanding of building plans and specs.
    • OSHA 10 Certification required; OSHA 30 Certification is preferred.
    • Safety standards knowledge and enforcement.
