    JOB DESCRIPTION

     

    Framatome is seeking a candidate for engineering support of its Richland Manufacturing facility. The candidate will gain exposure to and experience at the plant in the processes used to support fuel fabrication (either process or plant engineering). Once introductory training period is over, transfer to be made as a best fit in either Process engineering or Plant engineering. This transfer will be based on skillset demonstrated as well as highest priority need. We are seeking candidates with a strong desire to contribute, learn and accomplish projects in a modern manufacturing facility.

     

    This is a full-time, temporary position (not more than 12 months).

    Required Skills Required Experience

    ALL CANDIDATES MUST MEET THE FOLLOWING MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS OPPORTUNITY.

     

    • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering completed by start date plus 0-2 years of relevant work experience. Candidates with an advanced degree and/or experience may be considered for a higher level position.

    • Strong technical problem-solving abilities
    • Strong interpersonal skills
    • Excellent technical writing and verbal communication skills

     

    THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS ARE DESIRED AND WILL BE USED TO DIFFERENTIATE ALL CANDIDATES WHO APPLY FOR THIS POSITION.

     

    • Previous internship/co-op experience in field of study

    • Strong CAD skills.

    • Hands-on mechanical aptitude and technical problem solving skills.

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills able to work with all levels personnel.

    Richland is located in the Columbia River basin in southeastern Washington a few hours east of Seattle.
