    Precise Systems is a professional services company currently working for the U.S. Navy, U.S. Marine Corps, and U.S. Air Force. Our core competencies include acquisition and lifecycle support, advanced engineering, software solutions, security and technical services. We were founded in 1990, and since our establishment, we have been providing cutting edge solutions and support to our warfighters. We understand and provide expert consultation on network and weapons systems acquisition programs, maintenance/modernization programs, and sustainment programs.

    We are currently seeking a Software/Database Programmer, Journeyman to support our customer in Crane, Indiana. The ideal candidate will be able to perform the following duties, as well as possess the following education and experience:

    • Provide software development, system analysis, and database administration support
    • Support redesign efforts in a flexible and user friendly web environment, including: flexible database infrastructure development, user-friendly data views, customizable management report and data metrics, and Sub-Module creation for specific processes
    • Develop web applications that meet customer requirements and abide by NMCI and NETWORCOM guidelines and policies
    • Provide system analysis and support to share data between other warfare center web applications and commercial tools
    • Experience with and understanding of the Agile Software Development Methodology
    • Experience with and understanding of Visual Basics Software Development and Design
    • Experience with the following tools and applications is highly desired: ASP.net, SQL Server, MS Access, MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)

    Required Education:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field; ALLOWABLE SUBSTITUTION: Associate's Degree with an additional four (4) years of experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree

    Required Experience:

    • Five (5) years of experience performing duties described in the functional description above
    • CompTIA Security+ Certificate

    Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

    • Help administer project safety program to maintain a safe and healthy work environment
    • Helps provide technical assistance on the project, interprets contract drawings and submittals
    • Assist assistant superintendent, project superintendent, and project manager with daily and weekly tasks including daily reports, daily safety walks, weekly quantity reports, and weekly schedule updates
    • Understand the project schedule and the critical path
    • Review content for the short term plan
    • Participate in the quality program including attending meetings, performing inspections, and verifying materials
