    ******Payroll Tax & Accounting Specialist **



    Consolidated Human Resources is looking to add a full time Payroll Tax & Accounting Specialist to our growing Accounting Team.

    Daily responsibilities to include but are not limited to the following:

    • Collaborate with Payroll, Benefits, and Agency departments to resolve tax and accounting-related questions and inquires from Clients
    • Handle the processing and amendment of tax returns
    • Payroll Tax Registrations for Clients and PEOs
    • Oversee MasterTax and EFTPS system to ensure accuracy and timely payments
    • Maintain accurate corporate financial records and assist with bookkeeping duties as needed within QuickBooks Desktop
    • Conduct corporate forecasting and in-depth financial analysis
    • Oversee and review bank reconciliation
    • Address tax notices for CHR and clients promptly and effectively
    • Communicate with state and federal agencies in a professional manner
    • Post and verify financial transactions to maintain accurate records
    • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local legal requirements
    • Maintain timely license renewals and reporting with all agencies and municipalities as required
    • Provide backup for various areas within the accounting department including ****

    accounts receivable and accounts payable .

    Desired Skills :

    • Proficient in MasterTax, QuickBooks Desktop, EFTPS
    • Familiar with PrismHR a plus
    • Proficient in U.S. GAAP and adept at applying accounting principles
    • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting
    • Demonstrates exceptional organizational abilities and meticulous attention to detail
    • Works effectively under pressure to meet deadlines consistently
    • Capable of presenting complex data in a clear and understandable manner
    • Possesses strong customer service skills for client interactions
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Adaptable and flexible, thriving in dynamic work environments
    • Maintains a high level of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality
    • Displays high energy, a can-do attitude, and a proactive approach to tasks

    Experience & Education:

    • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related discipline is preferred.
    • 3+ years bookkeeping experience preferred.
    • Payroll Service Provider experience preferred.
    • Experience working in a fast-paced environment with growth opportunities.
