SURGE SURGE STAFF: IT/GIS SUPPORT

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for staff with previous IT or GIS experience to support public safety and emergency management related functions and duties in relation to COVID-19 response efforts. These positions would be filled to support technical operations and functions at Emergency Operations Centers.

These staffing positions will support both remote telework and deployed opportunities. The length of deployment is TBD based on the needs of the assigned jurisdiction.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree required or 4+ years of professional working experience
• Previous experience with IT or GIS Support
• Excellent task management and organizational abilities
• Strong attention to detail and ability to perform in fast-moving environments

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Knowledge and experience in emergency and disaster management and/or public health
• Previous EOC experience
