SCIENCE CONSULTANT

CONSTANT is seeking a skilled Science Consultant to provide support to the Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response (ASPR) Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Authority (BARDA). ASPR is a public health preparedness and emergency response organization in the Office of the Secretary at the United States Department of Health and Human Services.

THIS IS WHAT YOU’LL DO

The role serves as a technical expert providing advice and solutions on how to address specific ASPR related projects.

THIS IS WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• Leads and coordinates particularly complex scientific/technical components of large projects or series of smaller projects with responsibility for the application of advanced biostatistical methods and techniques.
• Serve as a technical expert in clinical investigation methodology, multicenter studies, and biostatistical methods.
• Leads in the preparation of analysis plans and writes detailed specifications for analysis files, consistency checks, and tables/figures/listings.
• Advises data management staff on database design, validation checks, and critical data.
• Leads in writing statistical sections of integrated reports.

QUALIFICATIONS

• PhD completed
• 4-6 years experience (ideally in biostatistics, epidemiology, clinical investigation OR doctoral training in medicine and graduate training in epidemiology or biostatistics).
• U.S. Citizen
• Must be eligible for a Secret Security Clearance
