    YOUR ROLE:

    Constellation Digital Partners (CDP) has created the world's first open digital services application platform dedicated to the credit union industry. We're looking for a capable, motivated, flexible, and highly organized individual to work directly with our credit union customers.     The Implementation Consultant will be the heart of our conversion team. This team member will work hand-in-hand with our customers throughout their implementation onto the Constellation platform. A primary role of the Implementation Consultant will be to understand each credit union's current business processes and ensure the programming elements are properly mapped/developed and translated. The Implementation Consultant's objective is to make sure the platform meets the credit union's expectations of how the platform should function for the end users. The individual will lead and participate in meetings with external stakeholders as well as CDP management. The success of the Implementation Consultant will be measured by our customers' successful conversions to the platform.

    ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

    • Work closely with the Project Manager (PM) to plan and participate in (sometimes lead) specific conversion activities, including but not limited to, sessions regarding the identification, mapping, development and translation of data elements as well as the planning and execution of mock and live conversions.
    • Thoroughly engage with the credit union to understand their specific products, services, and related business practices for the project. Explain system functionality to assist the credit union in making decisions regarding the data elements.
    •    Coordinate technical aspects of project delivery and solution delivery, including coordination with the Services and Platform teams to complete application configuration and development of credit union specific requirements.
    •       Create a training plan with the credit union. Conduct train-the-trainer sessions with credit union staff to instruct them on the functionality of the administrative portals. 
    • Gather, document and disseminate information related to data conversion/translation to appropriate stakeholders.
    • Guide and assist the credit union in the mapping of data for accurate translation of User Defined Fields (UDFs) and other custom items. 
    • Present and demonstrate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) standard cases to the credit union. Guide the credit union in the customization of UAT test cases as needed.
    • Train the credit union to effectively test the platform and validate development results. Conduct (with the credit union) thorough and organized testing, validating results and documenting outcomes, exceptions, and changes.
    • Work closely and regularly with CDP and third-party developers to ensure expectations for delivery and re-programming are understood. 
    • Regularly attend project meetings.   
    • Ensure stakeholders are well informed of the process and progress of the data conversion/translation and associated development. 
    • Continually keep the PM abreast of any delays and risks.

    TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL NEED:

    • Well versed in data element translations and conversion practices. Ability to translate between credit union, CDP staff and third-party stakeholders with ease.
    • Quickly gain knowledge of the CDP platform, digital/mobile banking practices, and credit union industry products and services.
    • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
    • Utilizes effective written and verbal communication including proper grammar, diplomacy and tact.
    • Highly responsible and responsive, delivers work in a timely manner, is able to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Ability to motivate others to meet deadlines with consistency.
    • Strong ability to interact and build rapport with stakeholders from various areas of the different organizations involved.
    • Exhibits a calm demeanor while assessing progress and risk, escalating appropriately and only when necessary.
    • Ability to engage with all levels of staff including but not limited to credit union project team members, developers and Executive Management as necessary.
    • A detail-oriented self-starter and problem solver.
    • Flexible and willing to work in a test-and-learn environment.
    • Up to 50% travel required.
    • Required to adhere to organizational policies, procedures, standards, and controls as well as comply with all federal and state laws and regulations.

    • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
    • 5 years of experience in software implementation services, custom software product development, and/or systems integration. 
    • 5 years of experience in business analysis with 3 years as a lead business analyst.
    • Experience in banking, credit union, or other financial services is a plus.
    • Data migration experience is a plus.
