    Summary Responsible for providing wide-range operations support for ConstructReach and will be able to work independently, while maintaining strong accountability to supervision. The Senior Operations Manager will serve on the company’s leadership team to oversee the performance, efficiency, and satisfaction of employees. Will work to analyze the company’s organizational process and will find ways to enhance employees’ work quality and productivity. The Senior Operations Managers will typically build operational policies and strategies that keep the organization functioning smoothly. You will also lend support in various company financial processes, like auditing, reporting, and budgeting to ensure the company stays in great financial standing. Responsibilities: Supervisory Responsibilities: • Work with HR to hire new employees • Coordinate and facilitate new hiring training • Organizes and oversees the schedules and work of assigned staff • Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive • Handles discipline and termination of employees as needed and in accordance with company policy Key Responsibilities: • Plans and organizes daily activities related to production and operations • Measures productivity by analyzing performance data, financial data, and activity reports • Coordinates with other support departments such as human resources, finance, and logistics to ensure successful production operations • Assists with, or prepares and updates, the organization’s operations manual and policies • Operate as the first point of contact for staff's daily operations • Ensure implementation of policies and practices • Maintain budget and track expenditures/transactions • Help build positive relations within the team and external parties • Keep updated records and create reports or proposals • Follow up with program participants to ensure that tasks and action items are being completed in a timely manner • Improve operational management systems, processes, and best practices • Help the organization’s processes remain legally compliant • Formulate strategic and operational objectives • Examine financial data and use it to improve profitability • Manage budgets and forecasts • Perform quality controls and monitor productivity KPIs • Find ways to increase the quality of customer service • Support planning and coordination of a program and its activities • Perform other duties as necessary and required Qualifications: Required Skills/Abilities/Qualifications: • Excellent managerial and supervisory skills • Extensive knowledge of operations management • High level of people relations skills and awareness • Strong time management and organizational skills and attention to detail • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software • Proven business acumen including knowledge of financials, budgeting, and reporting • Possess the knowledge and capability of business development • Tech savvy, proficient in MS Office • Ability to work with a diverse and multi-disciplinary remote team • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills • Awareness of the environment when performing essential functions outside of the office Education and Experience: • Bachelor’s degree in business or Operations Management, Business Administration, or related field required; M.B.A. preferred • Five to seven years of related experience required Ideal Candidate Will Possess the Following: • Have previously worked in Operations Management with a startup and are comfortable with how to work with ambiguity • Possess strong business acumen and business development • “Big picture” thinking, which is key to addressing top-level concerns and finding the best path forward from all the available data • Possess project management skills • Have worked with remote teams effectively • Interpersonal skills – an operations manager must communicate with both executives and staff employees in order to create and administer policy • Experience with interacting with corporate entities of Fortune 100 and 500 organizations • A thorough understanding of financial and budgeting processes and principles, which allows the Operations Manager to assess the company’s earnings and spending to find areas for improvement • Strong personal and professional judgment, which are invaluable skills for a role that makes hiring decisions as well as in finding the best solution to organizational dilemmas • Adaptability, enabling the Operations Manager to respond quickly to a shifting reality and adjust initiatives and priorities accordingly • Organizational skills and the flexibility to jump from priority to priority, which are essential to a role that juggles a variety of functions and projects Compensation: $70,000 - $75,000 yearly
