    Job Description

    JOB DESCRIPTION

    SACRAMENTO DRILLING, INC.was founded in 1978 and has been serving California and Nevada in the Drilled Shaft and Foundation Drilling Industry for 31 years. We are a certified small business, SMUD SEED Vendor, an active member of the ADSC (The International Association of Foundation Drilling). We have the equipment and staff to meet any challenge and expectation. From track mounted to truck mounted rigs, hillsides, low overhead drilling, micropiles, rock drilling, auger cast piles, coring, tower footings, design-build, photovoltaic installation and elevator shafts.

    CONTRACT ADMINISTRATOR

    • Organizes bid estimates/proposal/bid docs of material, equipment, and production costs, performance requirements, and delivery schedules to ensure completeness and accuracy.
    • Process plans, specifications, addenda’s, reports, and other exhibits that may be required.
    • Reviews bids/quotes from Subcontractors and/or Suppliers for conformity to contract requirements and determines acceptable bids.
    • Negotiates and manages contracts, subcontracts, purchase orders and/or Master Services Agreements with client, subcontractors, suppliers.
    • Awards and administers subcontracts and contracts, including final approval of payment (if hiring Subcontractors).
    • Requests or approves amendments to or extensions of contracts.
    • Advises various internal departments of contractual rights and obligations.
    • Compiles data for preparing estimates.
    • Maintains contract and contractor status databases.
    • Reviews all correspondence concerning contractors and responds as necessary.
    • Establishes and maintains contact with contractors to ensure the smooth working of the contract awarding process.
    • Compiles, organizes and files notices, potential claims and change orders
    • Acts as liaison between the company, subcontractors, suppliers.
    • Have at least 3-5 years’ experience/knowledge of construction contracts.
