Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Construction Admin Assistant to join our team and play a crucial role in delivering exceptional construction projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for construction-related administrative tasks such as insurance, liens, subcontracts and prevailing wage reporting, monthly billings, etc. As a Construction Admin Assistant at J&L Builders, you will collaborate with various levels of the J&L team and maintain clear communication with co-workers, clients and subcontractors on multiple projects. Job duties: • Receive subcontractor invoices and enter into our accounting software • Manage subcontractor lien waivers and releases. • Manage subcontractor and owner insurance. • Assist with subcontract and insurance processing. • Assist with monthly billings and bi-weekly timecard review. • Assist with project start up and closeouts. • Assist with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, reconciliation of bank accounts and credit cards. • Work schedule: Full-time salary • Other duties as required. Qualifications: • 2 years of experience as an Admin Assistant within the commercial construction industry is preffered. • Basic knowledge of the construction industry. • SAGE Software Experience preferred. • Excellent communication and time management skills. • Commitment to safety and company core values. • Ability to meet deadlines. • Willingness to work well with colleagues and stay motivated when working independently. • Willingness to accept new challenges. • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook • Strong attention to detail and a proactive positive attitude. • Background check and drug testing required for position.
