Construction Attorney
A Construction Attorney is needed in Hollywood, FL.

Salary and Benefits
- Annual salary range: $175,000 – $225,000

Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive legal oversight and counsel for all construction, real estate, and development matters.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, permits, and intergovernmental agreements.
- Advise leadership on project planning, land use, and infrastructure development.
- Ensure all activities comply with codes, federal regulations, and funding requirements.
- Identify potential legal risks and develop strategies to promote compliance and mitigate liability.
- Oversee legal aspects of lease agreements, service line agreements, and construction contracts.
- Provide guidance on zoning, permitting, environmental, and regulatory issues.
- Collaborate with department directors and the Legal Department to ensure legal integrity and efficiency.
Requirements
- Juris Doctorate (JD)
- Active membership in the Florida Bar Association and eligibility to practice law.
- Minimum of five (5) years of relevant legal experience, preferably in construction, real estate, or infrastructure law.
- Experience with public sector projects preferred.
- Valid Florida Driver’s License required.
