We specialize in high-end residential remodeling and whole-home transformations. We are not a volume builder. We Plan Slow and Execute Fast. As we scale toward $10M+ in annual revenue, we are seeking an Architectural Designer who thrives in a structured, high-performance environment and takes pride in producing clear, buildable construction documents. The Role The Architectural Designer plays a critical role in translating the client's vision into accurate, permit-ready construction drawings. This is not just drafting. This is coordination, foresight, and field-ready documentation. You will work closely with our Project Directors, Interior Designers, Estimator, and Project Managers to ensure that every project is: • Code-compliant • Structurally sound • Fully coordinated • Clear for trade execution • Ready for permitting What Makes This Role Different • You will not be isolated in a drafting department. • You will work inside a fully integrated design-build process. • Your drawings will directly impact margin, schedule, and client satisfaction. We value designers who: • Anticipate field conflicts • Think through construction sequencing • Protect clarity before problems arise • Take ownership of documentation accuracy Responsibilities: Produce Permit-Ready Construction Drawings • Create complete, accurate drawing sets that are buildable and field-usable for high-end remodels and additions Structural & Engineering Coordination • Coordinate structural engineers and integrate their feedback seamlessly into final construction documents As-Built & Field Verification • Coordinate Lidar scans and site surveys; verify measurements and ensure drawing accuracy before redlines Cross-Team Collaboration • Work closely with Project Directors, Interior Designers, and Estimators to align layout, scope, selections, and budget Oversee Drafting Output & Maintain Standards • Ensure drawing consistency, quality control, and documentation standards across all projects Qualifications: • 4–8+ years of residential design experience • Strong remodel and addition experience (preferred) • Ability to produce permit-ready construction sets • Strong understanding of residential codes • Experience coordinating structural engineers • Proficiency in Chief Architect (preferred), Revit, AutoCAD, or SketchUp • Strong attention to detail and organization • Comfortable working in a fast-moving design-build environment • Field-aware — understands how drawings translate into real construction Compensation: $70,000 - $90,000 yearly
