Contract Administrator for Construction Company
We are a fast-growing construction company seeking a highly skilled Contract Administrator to join our team. The contract administrator plays a crucial role, ensuring that projects are running smoothly and all interests of the company are protected, by managing and overseeing the administration of contracts.
Key responsibilities:
Review contracts and ensure that our specific scopes of work as well as terms and conditions are clear and comprehensive.
Ensure contracts comply with legal requirements, company policies and project specifications. Identify potential risks within contracts.
Liaise with clients, internal payroll, management and project managers to ensure all contractual obligations are met.
Manage the execution of contracts between clients and subcontractors.
Ensure appropriate insurance and bonding arrangements are in place for the project, and provide contract-specific documents such as safety manuals.
Track payment due dates and compliance documents when required by contract terms and manage financial documentation such as progress billings and payment applications.
Ensure close out documentation is received per contract terms in order to receive timely retention payments.
Qualifications:
Contract Administration experience is required. Construction CA is a plus.
Strong knowledge of contracts and legal terminology.
Financial management skills for invoicing purposes.
Attention to detail, organization skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Consistently exceed attendance expectations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
