Summary
The Construction Coordinator is responsible for managing a wide range of functions necessary to the construction process. They are responsible for accurately scoping new jobs, maintaining a high quality of service in all dealings with customers and insurance adjusters, and completing a variety of administrative tasks. Construction Coordinators work closely with the Construction Estimator, Project Managers, and Construction Manager to provide support throughout the team as needed.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with customer service and management of the customer experience
Educate customers on the reconstruction and insurance process
Maintain internal and external communications between customers and the reconstruction team
Review and validate project file documentation
Confirm with the Estimator and Project Manager that the project scope of work is complete
Communicate with insurance adjuster regularly regarding estimate approvals
Attaining permits as needed
Administrative Tasks, as needed in the Reconstruction workflow

Previous restoration estimating and/or insurance adjusting experience is a plus but not required
Prior experience with Xactimate™ estimating software is a plus but not required

Some site visits will be required to accurately scope a project
The employee is occasionally exposed to extreme conditions such as heat or cold
The noise level at individual job sites can be loud
Normal Working Hours, Additional Working Hours, and Travel Requirements
This is a full-time position, working hours varying between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday–Friday, 40 hours per week minimum on. This position frequently working on-call. Long hours or weekend work may also be required. Travel is required and is primarily local.
