    Financial Institution Services (FIS) is hiring Field Installation Technicians to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll work hands-on with experienced crews to install and move heavy equipment such as ATMs, safes, vaults, and drive-up banking systems at customer sites across the Midwest.

    You’ll assist with equipment setup, learn rigging and installation techniques, and help ensure every job is completed safely and correctly before leaving the site.

    Equipment Installation & Rigging

    Assist with the installation, relocation, and removal of ATMs, vaults, safes, and other commercial equipment

    Safely move and position heavy equipment using rigging tools and proper lifting techniques

    Secure, level, and anchor equipment according to job specifications and safety standards

    Assemble and install drive-up pneumatic banking systems and related components

    Construction & Job Site Support

    Assist with installation of underground and above-ground tubing systems

    Support basic construction tasks including concrete cutting, forming, and finishing

    Help with job site setup, cleanup, and material handling

    Assist with welding or minor field fabrication as needed (training provided)

    Technical & Installation Support

    Perform basic electrical or low-voltage connections under supervision

    Use hand and power tools to complete installations

    Work closely with team members to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to quality standards

    Qualifications

    Mechanical aptitude or experience using hand and power tools

    Interest in hands-on, physical work and learning a skilled trade

    Ability to lift and move heavy materials and work in active construction environments

    Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn

    Ability to work well on a team and follow direction

    Other Requirements

    Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

    Ability to pass background checks required for financial institution job sites

    Willingness to travel and stay overnight as projects require

    Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings or extended days when needed
