Construction Estimator

Salary: $120k-130k/yr. (depending on experience)

Location: Jobsites located within New Jersey

Description:

• Assisting with the cost analysis of construction projects by interpreting blueprints, taking off quantities and gathering subcontractor and supplier quotes. To learn and develop the skills to produce accurate cost estimates by mastering quantity takeoffs, understanding project scope, and analysis of vendor and subcontractor proposals

Qualifications:

• 4+ yrs experience in heavy civil estimating
• Basic Understanding of Construction methods, materials, and processes.
• Ability to interpret blueprints, technical documents, and specifications.
• Software proficiency with computer programs, especially Microsoft Office, and specific estimating software like Bluebeam and Heavy Bid, and Bluebeam.
• Proficiency in math, algebra and geometry for calculations and analysis
