Construction Estimator - Construction - Base Salary to 130k/year - Mandeville, LA

• Our client is looking for a Construction Estimator to join their pre-construction team. This role is responsible for managing all aspects of the estimating and bidding process to secure profitable work. The Construction Estimator will be involved in the process from initial document review to final bid submission and project turnover. 

Responsibilities:

• Lead the full estimating process for assigned projects — conceptual through final bid
  
• Perform quantity take-offs, pricing, bid summaries, and bid submissions
  
• Coordinate with subs/suppliers and manage bid day logistics
  
• Prepare budgets for negotiated work and design-build projects
  
• Analyze post-bid results and support project turnover to operations
  
• Maintain and update the estimating database

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field
  
• 5+ years of commercial construction estimating experience
  
• Strong understanding of unit costs, market trends, and cost drivers
  
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook, On-Screen Takeoff, and ICE for cost estimating
  
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines with attention to detail
  
• Ability to travel to project sites as needed

Compensation:

• Base salary to 130k/year
