Construction Estimator – Commercial, Multi-Family & Residential Design-Build

Minneapolis, MN | Direct Hire | $70K–$100K + Commission

Konik is partnering with a high-end residential and multi-family design-build contractor based in Minneapolis to add an Estimator to their growing team. This is an opportunity to join a company that values creativity, collaboration, and a seamless client experience from concept through construction.

Construction Estimator Highlights:

• Commercial, multi-family, and high-end residential design-build projects across Minnesota
• Competitive base salary with strong bonus potential (total compensation $100K+)
• Collaborative, design-focused team culture
• Monday–Friday schedule, 7 AM–6 PM

Construction Estimator Responsibilities:

• Review drawings, specifications, and client requirements to prepare detailed cost estimates
• Perform takeoffs and material quantity calculations
• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor bids and vendor quotes
• Collaborate with project managers and design teams to refine scopes and budgets
• Maintain organized records of estimates and bid documentation
• Support client-facing presentations and preconstruction meetings

Construction Estimator Qualifications:

• 3+ years of commercial or multi-family construction estimating experience strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and local costs
• Excellent analytical and math skills with strong attention to detail
• Effective communicator with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams

Construction Estimator Technical Skills:

• Proficient in Bluebeam Revu, PlanSwift, or similar estimating software
• Proficient in Buildertrend, Procore, or similar construction management platforms
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and related tools for cost analysis and reporting
