Responsibilities: • Calculate construction materials, product costs, labor, and time to estimate overall cost for construction projects • Supply accurate and clear quantity takeoff information to provide a detailed list of materials and assess the total construction costs • Analyze blueprints, proposals, specifications, and construction documents to understand the project as a whole • Interface with the construction project manager to oversee and coordinate the bid process for vendors and subcontractors • Inquire with clients regarding the status of submitted proposal and budgets Qualifications: • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and construction estimating software • Comprehension of research methodology, accounting, data and risk analysis, and estimation metrics is crucial • Certified Professional Estimator (CPE) certification from the American Society of Professional Estimators (ASPE) is preferred • Stellar communication, project management, and time-management skills are crucial • Critical thinking, analytical skills, and very strong math skills are required Compensation: $50,000
