Responsibilities: • Frequent construction sites to gather necessary client requirement information • Inquire with clients regarding the status of submitted proposal and budgets • Work closely with the construction project manager to oversee and coordinate the bid process for vendors and subcontractors • Estimate time, labor, construction materials, and product costs to determine overall cost for construction projects • Evaluate proposals, specifications, blueprints, and construction documents to understand the project as a whole Qualifications: • Extensive experience in MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and construction estimating software • Knowledge of data and risk analysis, research methodology, accounting, and estimation metrics is critical • Requires critical thinking, analytical skills, and very strong math skills • Current Certified Professional Estimator (CPE) certification from the American Society of Professional Estimators (ASPE) is desired • 3 years of experience in the construction industry - project estimating or construction management is necessary Compensation: $50,000
