As a Construction Estimator with Servpro you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of accurate and through estimates are provided to customers who have water or fire damaged commercial or residential properties. In this role, you will manage a wide range of functions on all construction projects.

Key Responsibilities: Customer Satisfaction Establish customer relationship during the mitigation process for construction services

Educate customer on the construction process and work with customers to understand desired upgrades/changes

Producing Xactimate Construction Estimates

Create Xactimate estimates for repairs/rebuild on water & fire damaged buildings Create Xactimate estimates for customers requests for type of work needed Work with Insurance Adjusters for approval of Estimates Project Initiation Analyze labor, material, and time requirements for a project

Create an accurate sketch and initial scope of work for construction projects.

Deliver a consistent and well-defined initial Xactimate estimate.

Recognize project constraints and/or needed upgrades

Work with Project Manager/Sub Contractors to price bid items, if needed. Project Planning Identify and document finalized project scope of work. Work with outside resources as necessary to complete accurate estimate (i.e Structural Engineers, ITEL, Electrical Inspectors, etc.) Assemble accurate and well-organized estimates. Deliver and Communicate estimate to Project Manager.

Position Requirements:

2 years previous Xactimate construction estimating and/or insurance adjusting experience

Previous construction management experience

Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred

Excellent organizational and leadership skills

Ability to meet established production goals and maintain profitability

Effective written and oral communication

Skills/Physical Demands/Competencies:

Exposure to extreme conditions such as heat

Ability to walk and/or stand for long periods of times (i.e., driving, sitting, climbing)

Ability to climb ladders and work at ceiling heights

Exposure to noise levels at jobsites that can be loud

Ability to successfully complete a background check subject to applicable law
