The Restoration Reconstruction Estimator is responsible for managing a wide range of functions necessary to obtain and successfully execute the estimation of reconstruction projects. They are responsible for ensuring a high quality of service in all dealings with customers, clients, subcontractors, and resource providers involved in construction services.

Key Responsibilities

Communicate with clients to build rapport and trust

Visit job-sites and meet with clients

Evaluate and sell the reconstruction projects.

Work with the reconstruction superintendents to create an accurate scope of work.

Create the project estimate.

Upsell additional work over and above insurance related scope of work

Communicate with Insurance Adjusters to come to an agreed upon scope

Ensure all work performed complies with the plans, specifications, local codes, and requirements of the scope of work.

Ensure proper documentation of each project including photos, contracts, change orders, etc.

Update insurance reporting portals per requirements

Collaborate with Sales and Mitigation teams to deliver excellent customer service.

Position Requirements

High school diploma/GED

Previous construction management experience

Experience writing estimates, Xactimate preferred

Excellent organizational and leadership skills

Ability to meet established production goals and maintain profitability

Effective written and oral communication

Skills/Physical Demands/Competencies

Exposure to extreme conditions such as heat

Ability to walk and/or stand for long periods of times (i.e., driving, sitting, climbing)

Ability to climb ladders and work at ceiling heights

Exposure to noise levels at jobsites that can be loud

Ability to successfully complete a background check subject to applicable law
