Summary
Responsible for assisting in the fabrication of various components and/or whole parts to support the production and manufacturing of specialized water treatment equipment and associated systems. This position requires forklift operation, scissor lifts, drill presses, belt sanders, band saws, bench grinders and ironworkers.
Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Fabrication Technician to support the production and manufacturing of specialized water treatment equipment and associated systems. The ideal candidate will assist in fabricating various components and whole parts while operating a range
of equipment, including forklifts, scissor lifts, drill presses, belt sanders, band saws, bench grinders, and ironworkers.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in fabricating and manufacturing components for specialized equipment used in industrial water treatment applications.
Safely operate drill presses, belt sanders, band saws, bench grinders, ironworkers, and other specialized equipment to fabricate parts and systems.
Pipe-fit various materials such as PVC, CPVC, fiberglass, and stainless steel for water treatment systems.
Follow proper safety procedures to prevent injuries and ensure a safe work environment. Maintain good housekeeping practices by keeping the fabrication area and tool storage clean and organized.
Perform confined space entry in small tanks for tanks with manways for maintenance and inspection purposes.
Be willing to travel for field repair and installation assignments when required. Keep accurate records and reports of fabrication activities as needed.
