  • Responsibilities

    We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented professional to support field operations on construction projects from planning through completion. In this role, you will work closely with project managers, superintendents, subcontractors, and clients to help ensure work is performed safely, efficiently, and in alignment with project specifications, schedules, and quality standards.

    Responsibilities

    • Support daily field operations and coordinate with project teams to maintain progress on active construction sites.
    • Review drawings, specifications, plans, and other project documents to help ensure accurate execution of work.
    • Assist with layout, surveying support, and verification of dimensions, elevations, and field conditions.
    • Monitor work in place for conformance with plans, specifications, and applicable codes or standards.
    • Track quantities, progress, and site activities to support reporting, forecasting, and project documentation.
    • Assist Engineers with drafting and calculations for the design of deep foundation and earth retention.
    • Assist in identifying and documenting discrepancies, conflicts, or potential constructability concerns.
    • Perform quality control checks, inspections, punch lists, and closeout activities as needed.
    • Maintain accurate field records, daily reports, logs, and other project documentation.
    • Help enforce project safety practices and promote a safe work environment at all times.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
    • Prior experience in construction field operations, project engineering, or a related support role preferred.
    • Familiarity with construction methods, plans and specifications, scheduling, and quality control practices.
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
    • OSHA 30 hour certificate is preferred but must obtain within first year of employment.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and related project management tools; experience with construction software is a plus.
    • Experience with HCSS (Heavy Job) or other Project Management software preferred.
    • Ability to interpret technical drawings and documents.
    • Comfortable working in an active field environment and adapting to changing priorities.
