Position Overview
The Project Manager will be responsible for managing all field operations across multiple residential remodeling projects. This includes coordinating subcontractors, maintaining job schedules, ensuring materials are available when needed, and keeping projects moving from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities
Jobsite & Field Management
Oversee day-to-day activity on multiple residential job sites
Ensure work is completed according to scope, quality standards, and schedule
Conduct regular site visits and proactively resolve field issues
Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites
Subcontractor Coordination
Schedule and manage all subcontractors across active projects
Ensure proper sequencing of trades to avoid delays
Confirm subcontractor readiness and job completion before next phase begins
Communicate schedule changes clearly and efficiently
Production Scheduling
Maintain and update job schedules for multiple projects
Coordinate timelines between trades and job phases
Work with the office to adjust schedules as needed based on field conditions
Material Coordination (Field Support)
Identify missing or needed materials during construction phases
Coordinate with the office to ensure materials are ordered and delivered on time
Verify deliveries and ensure materials are staged correctly on site
Quality Control
Monitor workmanship throughout each phase of construction
Create and manage punch lists
Ensure projects meet company standards before completion
Communication (Internal)
Act as the primary field coordination point for subcontractors
Provide clear, consistent job updates to the business owner
Flag issues early and help prevent delays or rework
Qualifications
Experience in residential construction or remodeling (required)
Strong knowledge of kitchens, bathrooms, basements, and general remodeling processes
Ability to read and understand construction workflow and sequencing
Excellent organization and time management skills
Strong communication and leadership skills with subcontractors
Problem-solving mindset and ability to make decisions in the field
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
