Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Construction File Clerk for a high profile, mega-project at JFK Airport in Queens, NY. The File Clerk will be responsible for handling the files for the Closeout/Turnover tasks, ensuring that all necessary documentation is accurately submitted, renamed, and filed according to the project’s EDMS protocols. This is a contracted-based opportunity scheduled for the next 6-8 months.

Job Duties and Responsibilities ****

• Manage the submission of the Inspection Certifications, Letters, and Attachments into projects EDMS.
• Maintain and track the records and submissions of the Closeout/Turnover documents in the project EDMS.
• Download RFIs/Submittals with attachments and file them for recordkeeping, despite no longer needing to submit them as ETRNs.
• Maintain and report on the Document Control Certifications tracking matrices and logs.
• Follow and adhere to the naming convention, guidelines and project protocol for files and submit records from the projects EDMS.
• Coordinate daily tasks with Document Control Manager and team.

Required Qualifications ****

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in document control or a similar role is preferred.
• Proficiency in using document management systems such as Microsoft Suite, Adobe, and Revu Bluebeam (ACC & eBuilder a plus).
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills.

Salary: $50,000 - $65,000
