The Foreman supervises and coordinates the activities of workers engaged in the installation of water, sewer and drain mains. The Foremen must work within a precise standard of accuracy with safety as a top priority.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Supervise total construction to ensure the project is constructed in accordance with design, budget, and schedule.
Prioritize, schedule, and communicate plans and tasks to crew members.
Monitor work performance and productivity of crew members to ensure specifications, procedures, and safety requirements are maintained.
Train new workers in the use of equipment and tools.
Maintain accurate time and material records and complete paperwork as required.
Advise of potential problems, work interferences, schedule difficulties. Assist in resolving such problems as required.
Follows company policies and procedures and enforces safety regulations.
Exercises proper care, maintenance, and operation of company equipment.
Works cooperatively and courteously with others at all times.
Position Requirements/Certifications and Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Minimum 5 years’ experience within the heavy construction industry performing the installation of water, sewer and drainage systems.
OSHA 10 Certified
Competent Person in Trench Safety Certificate
Confined Space Certificate
2A Hydraulics License
Valid Driver's License
DOT Medical Examiners Certificate
Salary: Depending on experience
