Key Responsibilities
Clean and prepare job sites for daily work activities
Assist the safety team in maintaining a safe work environment
Handle, move, and organize materials throughout the job site
Support carpenters and field supervisors with assigned tasks and projects
Load and unload deliveries, materials, tools, and equipment
Assist with daily construction activities on residential and commercial job sites
Perform site cleanup and maintain orderly work areas
Operate basic hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
Provide support to skilled trades as needed
Follow all company safety procedures and job site rules
Requirements
Minimum of 5 years of construction experience
General knowledge of construction practices, job site safety, and proper tool usage
Ability to provide dependable support to field supervision
Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills on the job site
Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds
Must be physically agile and mobile, remain alert, and stand or walk for extended periods
Must be able to use hands, fingers, and arms to reach, handle, and manipulate materials and tools
Must be able to climb ladders, scaffolds, and other elevated surfaces
Must be comfortable working on uneven surfaces and at heights
Must be able to read and write effectively
Must have adequate vision and hearing, with or without correction
Must be able to lift and carry materials of various shapes and sizes weighing 50–100 pounds up to 75% of the time
