Responsibilities: • Be available to help onsite tradespeople and heavy equipment workers as needed, to complete the plumbing, electrical, roofing, and any other aspect of the project • Load, unload and prepare any tools or materials on site that will be used to complete the build, so the crew can operate efficiently • Take away any remaining tools, trash, and building materials once construction is complete to ensure a clean work site • Provide support to your team through all stages of every project to make sure the job is done efficiently • Dispose of any debris, trash, or hazardous materials that are found on the site to prepare it construction starts • Perform physical labor at construction projects related to new construction, demolition, and renovation • Assist with forming and filling foundations • Demolition work • Preparing and installing door frames • General cleaning of work sites • Loading and unloading • Assist other workers such as Electricians, Carpenters, Operators, and Superintendents Qualifications: • Some experience using construction equipment, forklift, hand tools, and power tools highly preferred • Knowledge of basic engineering and construction laborer methods is preferred, but we will provide training • This work requires physical agility, solid hand-eye coordination, and a good sense of balance • High school diploma or GED preferred • Important to be able to work independently and with a team, take direction and follow-through • One year of labor experience related to construction is required • Driver's license and the ability to travel between work sites are required • Must have the ability to carry out basic verbal and written correspondence, instructions, rules, and policies • Must be able to perform basic arithmetic in order to complete job tasks • Must be able to use measuring devices such as tapes and gauges Compensation: $18 hourly
