Job Description
Supports the purchasing and buyout process, working directly for the Director of Preconstruction and operations in the preparation of trade and vendor contracts with opportunity to assist in the buyout and leveling of the trade packages.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities.
· Work closely with the Purchasing Agents and Director through buyout process on each project to understand the timing and priority of the agreements.
· Reviews the information provided by the Purchasing Agents for accuracy and completeness.
· Ensures correct contract forms are utilized and verify that contracts contain all necessary language and exhibits.
· Consult with the Director about the appropriate budget, cost code and timing of the work for each package.
· Review Lettire contract with the Director to ensure required flow downs are incorporated in trade agreements.
· Assemble and issue Letter of Intent’s (LOI’s) as appropriate.
· Prepares, reviews and modify subcontract and vendor agreements.
· Review proposed changes from subcontractors and liaise with the Director of Preconstruction and Risk Management for resolution and implementation.
· Establish and maintain tracking logs for each project to monitor the flow of LOI’s, Subcontracts and Purchase orders.
· Send tracking sheets to Field teams to keep them informed.
· File all agreements in the appropriate folders.
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in business or related field.
· Highly effective verbal and written communication skills
· Excellent customer service skills, including telephone and listening skills.
