    Title: Construction Manager (Construction and Manufacturing Services)

    Location: On-site in Woodland, CA (convenient to Sacramento and Yolo)

    Compensation $110K base + performance-based bonus + benefits

    Overview

    A privately held pre-fabricated home company is seeking a hands-on, results-driven operations leader to oversee business performance, team management, and process improvement. This leadership role manages several key service lines in home construction with responsibility for a 10+ person team and numerous concurrent projects each month.

    Construction experience is a must.

    Role Summary

    The successful candidate will take operational responsibility for high quality, rapid, construction of our homes. You’ll be responsible for aligning people, building processes, and quality performance to meet growth goals and deliver on client expectations.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Lead and manage the construction quality • Direct multiple team leads • Help to streamline internal processes and delivery • Hold teams accountable to deadlines • Drive internal communication between production crews and office teams especially with regard to inventory management • Work within budget

    Ideal Background

    • 7+ years of operations leadership in construction or trades

    • Strong people management experience with a collaborative and motivational style • Familiarity with estimating public/private sector jobs • Systems-minded, with fluency in performance tracking, and operational accountability • Strong recruiting instincts and network—can identify and hire the right people
