CONSTRUCTION MANAGER Position Summary: Commercial Real Estate Development company with a Construction Division seeks self-motivated Construction manager with a minimum of 5 years’ supervisory experience in small to medium size tenant improvements and some full building renovations. Position is responsible for the planning, coordination, budgeting, and supervision of construction projects from start to finish. Position is Part time 25-30 hrs per week.
You will be responsible for:
. Preparing cost estimates, budgets, and work timetables
. Working with architects, engineers, and other construction specialists, general contractor, trade contractors, and subcontractors
. Organizing logistics, delegating work, and keeping track of spending. Manage work orders, and dispatch personnel. Monitoring projects, responding to work delays and emergencies, and ensuring that work is completed on time and within budget
Education and/or Experience:
. High school or trade school equivalent in the construction fields
. Computer experience with Excel spreadsheets
