Position Summary
As a Construction Manager with SERVPRO of Perry Hall/White Marsh, you will oversee all aspects of residential and commercial construction and restoration projects while ensuring exceptional customer service and client satisfaction. This role is responsible for managing project timelines, budgets, subcontractors, and quality standards from start to finish.
The ideal candidate will have strong leadership abilities, experience in restoration and reconstruction, and the ability to work effectively with insurance companies, adjusters, and property owners throughout the claims and rebuilding process.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily operations of construction and restoration projects
Manage construction teams, subcontractors, and superintendents
Ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget
Monitor quality control and ensure all work complies with plans, specifications, local codes, and scope requirements
Coordinate with customers, insurance adjusters, and clients throughout the project lifecycle
Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation including photos, contracts, estimates, and change orders
Utilize Xactimate and other estimating tools as needed for project estimating and job management
Conduct end-of-day and end-of-job debriefs with project teams
Maintain a safe and organized jobsite environment
Resolve project issues quickly and professionally to maintain customer satisfaction
Position Requirements
High school diploma or GED required
Previous construction management experience required
Restoration and reconstruction experience preferred
Experience working with insurance companies, adjusters, and claims processes preferred
Working knowledge of Xactimate estimating software preferred
PMP certification is a plus
Strong organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills
Ability to meet production goals while maintaining profitability
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Physical Demands & Work Environment
Ability to walk, stand, climb ladders, and work at varying heights for extended periods of time
Exposure to extreme temperatures and outdoor working conditions
Exposure to noise levels commonly found on construction jobsites
Ability to lift and move materials as needed
Ability to successfully complete a background check subject to applicable law
