We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to lead our Construction Materials Testing (CMT) operations in Charlotte, NC. The Associate Principal will oversee project quality, client relations, and technical review while mentoring junior staff and supporting business growth. Responsibilities: • Direct and supervise construction materials testing projects in the field and laboratory. • Serve as senior technical reviewer and final signatory on deliverables. • Provide project management, including budgeting, forecasting, and client communication. • Mentor and train engineers and technicians on standards and best practices. • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and engineering regulations. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program (required). • Professional Engineer (PE) license (required). • 5+ years of U.S.-based construction materials testing experience. • Experience supervising staff and managing CMT projects. • Valid driver’s license and ability to work onsite in Charlotte, NC. Compensation: $75,000 - $125,000 yearly
